Recovering Abandoned Places

I had a moment of inspiration (its actually the reason I started this blog) to find abandoned areas, places in the shadows of the empire so to speak, and take photos there. To me its something redemptive, reclaiming something forsaken. I couldn't think of a more appropriate spot to start this adventure, this is a place I drove by regularly while I was in school at TFC, and the rain provided the perfect mood. So this is the first in, hopefully, a series of shoots in these locations. Enjoy:
